The College Football Playoff Foundation and Eckrich Celebrate Teachers Nationwide

Teachers change lives every day, and the College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation’s partnership with Eckrich ensures their dedication is recognized. Through nearly a decade of collaboration, Eckrich has invested more than $3 million in programs that elevate educators in their classrooms, in their communities and on college football’s biggest stage.

For the last five years, Eckrich has served as the presenting sponsor of the Teacher of the Year program. More than 50 state and territory Teachers of the Year, along with the National Teacher of the Year, take part in College Football Playoff National Championship Weekend and are honored on the field during the title game.

Eckrich has also expanded recognition through its Eckrich Teacher of the Year initiative. Over the past three seasons, nominated educators have been selected to join the Teacher of the Year Experience and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of their accomplishments.

The brand’s support extends beyond national championship festivities and into local communities. Thousands of teachers and students have benefited from the popular Eckrich $1 Million Throw Challenge, which gives educators a chance to secure classroom funding at college football games across the United States. Through its Teacher Appreciation Tour, Eckrich has visited more than 100 schools and surprised educators with a tailgate-style lunch to express appreciation for the work they do every day.

This year, Eckrich expanded its support by investing in the Extra Yard Makeover program, helping transform and create revitalized learning spaces for students and teachers. The initiative, as outlined in the official announcement, will benefit five schools selected nationwide.

The CFP Foundation values Eckrich’s ongoing partnership and the meaningful impact it creates for teachers. As preparations build toward Miami and the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship, the CFP Foundation is proud to work alongside Eckrich to deliver more opportunities that honor educators and strengthen their classrooms nationwide.
