ORLEANS PARISH SCHOOL BOARD TO HONOR TOP TEACHERS FOR THE NEW ORLEANS EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING AWARD
OPSB & educational partners to give away nearly $14,000 to 7 top public school teachers in Orleans Parish
WHAT: In conjunction with the College Football Playoff Foundation, the Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB) and other educational partners will join together to celebrate the 11 finalist and 7 winners of New Orleans Excellence in Teaching Award (NOETA). Each winner will be represented with a check of $2,000, a proclamation from the city, and a plaque of appreciation.
The NOETA awards was created in 2015 by New Schools for New Orleans. In the fall of 2018, the Orleans Parish School Board took over the planning and execution of the program to honor more outstanding public school teachers throughout all of our schools in New Orleans.
