College Football Playoff Foundation Partners with Tickets for Good to Create Tickets for Teachers

Program designed to show appreciation for teachers nationwide

IRVING, Texas -- The College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation and Tickets for Good are partnering to bring special access to live event tickets for educators to enjoy through the Tickets for Teachers program.

Tickets for Teachers originally launched as part of the Georgia Teachers Initiative to show appreciation for educators in the state of Georgia, and now has grown nationwide. Through the partnership with Tickets for Good, teachers have access to free and discounted live event tickets. Now available across the country, teachers have access to browse and secure tickets to events from music to theater, sports to comedy, and much more. Since its inception Georgia teachers have already received hundreds of tickets through the new program.

“We’re very happy to partner with Tickets for Good and the Georgia Teachers Initiative on Tickets for Teachers,” said CFP Foundation Executive Director Britton Banowsky. “It is an excellent program to show appreciation for our teachers, both in Atlanta and nationwide. We hope thousands of our educators across the country take advantage of this free program and spread the word to their colleagues. We want to say, ‘thank you’ as many teachers as possible.”

To kick things off, more than 300 Georgia educators were treated to a pre-game back-to-school brunch and Braves game in August while more than 1,000 teachers signed up for a chance to win tickets to the 2024 Aflac Kickoff Game between Clemson and Georgia at Mercedes Benz Stadium.

"Partnering with the CFP Foundation enables our two purpose driven organizations to unite under a shared mission of giving back to those that do good," said Tickets for Good Chief Operating Officer Derek DeVeaux. "Educators are key to our lives, our communities, and to our future. Giving back to them is the least we can do to say thank you."

Educators from the state of Georgia are encouraged to sign up through GeorgiaTeachersInitiative.org. Other teachers across the nation can register at ticketsforteachers.com.
