2025 Extra Yard for Teachers Summit In-Person Registration Closes

More than 3,000 teachers have signed up for the event; local and national educators

not already registered are encouraged to sign up online and participate via live stream

 

IRVING, Texas – The College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation announced today that it has officially reached in-person attendance capacity for its annual Extra Yard for Teachers Summit, slated for Saturday, January 18 at Georgia State University’s Rialto Center for the Arts in Atlanta. Centered around the themes Inspire, Influence, and Impact, more than 3,000 educators have registered for the free inspirational event, featuring relevant and high-energy speakers who recognize the dedication of those working with kids in PK-12 schools. The CFP Foundation encourages local and national educators not already registered to participate via live stream by visiting cfp-foundation.org or www.georgiateachersinitiative.org.

The 2025 edition of the Extra Yard for Teachers Summit will take place on Saturday, January 18 from 3-5 p.m. ET, followed by a reception from 5-7 p.m. ET with a performance by Pretty Tammi the DJ. Speakers scheduled to appear at the Extra Yard for Teachers Summit include emcee Joaquín Zihuatanejo, Jess Sims, Coy Bowles, Dr. Val Brown, Dr. Maisha Otway, Missy Testerman, Caleb Costen, Christy Todd, Rachel Lindsay, Malcolm Mitchell and Jed Dearybury.

 

Doors for the event will open at 2 p.m. ET. The first 200 participants in line will receive $100 DonorChoose cards. Once the main auditorium reaches capacity, participants can enjoy the Summit at the Candler Hotel Ballroom at 127 Peachtree Street.
