Background and Focus

The school district leaders each, and independently, identified middle school reform as a major priority. Each is also developing short term and long-term plans to improve student achievement outcomes on their middle school campuses. The College Football Playoff Foundation will focus its Miami host city impact strategy around supporting this work by 1) providing resources to select middle school campuses; and, 2) targeted innovation and academic facility conversions similar to prior investments. The strategy will align these investments in a way that supports the priorities of the districts and the needs of the affected middle schools.
