Going the Extra yard to Keep Kids Learning
We are currently facing a nationwide crisis (COVID-19). Our education system is transitioning to remote learning and teachers are on the front-line to ensure that student development and learning continues. Teachers have been responding in a timely and heroic manner to give parents and students what they need to stay focused and keep learning. We recognize and appreciate the tremendous contribution that they make every day and, during this crisis, we need them more than ever.
And, they need our support.
The College Football Playoff Foundation will make a $50,000 donation to DonorsChoose.org including the Keep Kids Learning Fund that supports resources for teachers and students, and will encourage others to contribute as well.
In partnership with Eckrich, consumers that have kids in school will be encouraged to share stories about their teachers who are going the extra yard to keep kids learning. One teacher will be awarded $5,000 each week in the form of a DonorsChoose.org grant for a total of $50,000 investment over 10 weeks.
