TOUCHDOWN FOR TEACHERS

ABOUT THE INITIATIVE

The College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation and ESPN Citizenship are celebrating 10 years of partnership with the launch of a new post-season effort to support educators, called Touchdown for Teachers.

44 Bowl Games

283 Touchdowns Scored

624 Teachers Supported

HOW IT WORKS

This December, the CFP Foundation and ESPN will donate $1,000 to local schools for every touchdown scored during each Bowl Game during the 2023 postseason. Following each of the Bowl Games the funds will be distributed directly to local teachers within that bowl game’s market. The college Bowl Games, which draw immense attention and enthusiasm, provide an ideal platform to raise awareness about the importance of education.

The funds generated through Touchdown for Teachers will directly benefit teachers in host cities, enabling them to access additional resources. These resources may include books, educational technology, art supplies, science equipment, and other materials that enhance learning experiences for students across various subjects and grade levels.
